Clubs and Teams
- Clubs and Teams: Affiliated
clubs may enter teams for the competitions run by the
Association. For the purposes of these rules, single
team entities have the same rights and
responsibilities as affiliated clubs. (New)
- Notification of Club Officers:
Clubs shall notify the Honorary Secretary, in writing, the
contact details (name, address, telephone, facsimile and
email (where appropriate)) of their Delegates and
alternate Delegates, President, Honorary Secretary and
Honorary Treasurer no later than 15th September in each
year. Clubs failing to comply with this Rule may be fined
a sum of ten dollars. (Slight
changes)
- Competitions: Competitions shall
be open to all affiliated Clubs. The Executive Council
shall arrange for the competitions to be conducted in
any or all of its Grades on the basis of one or
two-day games to be played on Saturdays, except where
a shortage of available grounds necessitates Sunday
play.
- Grading of Players: The
Executive Council may grade players and refuse to
allow them to play in a lower grade than that
designated.
- Grading of Teams: The Executive
Council shall each year consider the applications from
affiliated Clubs for entry in the competitions and its
decision as to which teams shall play in each grade
shall be final. In exceptional circumstances, the
Executive Council may transfer a team between grades. (Final
sentence new)
- Entry of Teams: Affiliated Clubs
nominating teams for the competitions shall do so in
writing to the Honorary Secretary no later than the
second Monday in September in each year or at such
later date as may be decided by the Executive Council.
Entries received after the closing date shall be
accepted only with the approval of the Executive
Council.
- Fixtures: The Executive Council
shall each year appoint Fixture Committees to arrange
a table of fixtures for each grade of the competition
together with playing grounds for the consideration of
the Executive Council.
